09 May 2013	Tommy Lyons' Celebration Dinner
Tommy Lyons' Celebration Dinner Friday, May 17, 2013 @ 3:30pm Shearer Hills Baptist Church, 12615 San Pedro, San Antonio, Texas 78216 Registrations are closed, contact Jay Ghormley at Shearer Hills with questions... A celebration dinner will be held on May 17 at Shearer Hills Baptist Church in San Antonio beginning at 3:30pm. The celebration for Tommy's 34 years as SMOST Director will include a time of story-telling and a catered dinner at 5:30pm. The dinner will be followed by a Singing Men Concert at 7pm. Registration for all attendees is required for the dinner, this includes Singing Men. Also, please consider writing a letter to Tommy to be included in a scrapbook for him. SMOST Lunch in San Antonio Saturday, May 18, 2013 @ 11:30am Singing Men will be hosting a lunch in San Antonio on Saturday, May 18 at 11:30am. We will meet at a restaurant and enjoy lunch together. All participants must register and all must pay for their seat/lunch. Details are not final, all are invited. Additional details will be posted here and under News on the home page when available.

SMOST begins taking concert requests in January of each year for concerts the next year. Preference is given to singing at the churches of our group's members, but all requests for concerts will be considered. 17 Aug 2012	2012 Sep 23 Ukraine Choir Project
Click here to watch a great video about the Ukraine Mission Project All are invited to participate in this mission project with the Singing Men of Texas and Evangelist Michael Gott as the message of Christ is brought to the people of the Ukraine. On a previous, similar project, more than 10,000 people attended the concert/worship services through the week and more than 4,567 people accepted Christ because of it. This is a very effective way to spend God's resources to reach people. We need Singing Men to go and sing, and also, others to help with passing out bulletins and registering people at the conferences. This is your chance to have a part in the great awakening of Christ in the Ukraine! (Click on the title of this item for more information.)
